* Get a good nights sleep
* Eat a good breakfast or lunch
* Drink extra fluids to replace what you will donate, and avoid caffeine

DURING THE DONATION

* Wear clothing with sleeves that can be raised above the elbow
* Show the staff any good veins that have been used successfully in the past
* Relax

AFTER THE DONATION

* Take your time at the canteen area immediately after donatingrelax and enjoy snacks
* Collect your freebie(s) from the blood center
* Make it a point tore-hydrateby drinking plenty of fluids over the next 24-48 hours
* If you feel light headed, lie down and elevate your feet until the feeling passes
* Avoid strenuous physical activity or heavy lifting for six hours after donation

Occasionally blood drives have to be cancelled. Due to weather conditions orunforeseencircumstances beyond their control. Please call the phone number of where the blood drive takes place the day of the blood drive to confirm that the blood drive is going to be held, or to ask questions about the blood drive, driving directions or donating.

Tickets are valid for the 2016 season, Advance Appointment Required No Exceptions!Amusement Park Parking is extra, A blood donor card or drivers license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in some states), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health maybe eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirementsand other restrictions may apply.

Annual Pass for Current US Military and Their Dependents

Available to Current US military members and the dependents of deployed military in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard, as well as most members of the Current US Reserves and National Guard. Proper military ID is required (CAC Card or DoD Form 1173).
Obtained in person at Federal recreation sites that charge entrance or standard amenity fees.
Covers entrance to Fish and Wildlife Service and National Park Service sites that charge Entrance Fees, and Standard Amenity Fees at Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation sites.
Admits the pass owners and any accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas, or the pass owner and up to additional 3 adults at sites that charge per person.Current US military members and their dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard, as well as most members of the US Reserves and National Guard. Proper military ID is required (CAC Card or DoD Form 1173).Can dependents of National Guard and the Reserve members acquire a pass?
Dependents of deployed military members with DoD Form 1173 may obtain a pass. If the military member has not been deployed, the dependent may be the second signer on their sponsors pass.
